Launch of Safeguarding Children in Education v4 E-Learning

We are delighted to announce that we have launched our Safeguarding Children in Education E-Learning programme. This is the latest addition to our other popular Education Services Courses for Schools and Colleges.

Based on guidance from the most recent DoE ‘Keeping Children Safe in Schools and Colleges’ July 2015, the programme offers the most vital, up-to-date knowledge of the law; understanding of signs and symptoms including Child Sexual Exploitation, Female Genital Mutilation, Radicalisation and Child Trafficking along with best practice in dealing with child abuse.

Safeguarding Children in Education can help school and college staff meet their learning needs and their statutory requirements, helping to safeguard and promote the welfare of children in their care.

We are delighted to announce that we have updated our Safeguarding Children E-Learning programme to include the most up to date knowledge of the law, understanding of signs and symptoms and best practice in dealing with child abuse. Our Safeguarding Children v4 E-Learning programme is the latest addition to our other popular Children’s Services and Healthcare E-Learning Courses.

Safeguarding Children v4 E-Learning is designed to help Health and Social Care staff plus other Private, Voluntary and Independent Sector Agencies in a number of ways. This includes understanding the signs and symptoms of child abuse; awareness of the inquiries and legislation underpinning child protection; knowing what to do if abuse is suspected; developing useful assessment skills; being clear about sharing information with others; understanding local child protection systems; linking with the Common Induction Standards and transferring knowledge from this programme to the workplace.

Through our use of clear content; careful animation; recent case studies; Safeguarding Children Reviews; quizzes and further information, we can help provide the skills and knowledge needed to enable your multi-agency staff help protect children from abuse. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and working together is essential.
