We are delighted to announce that we have updated our Dementia E-Learning programme to reflect the Care Act 2014 and to contribute to the Care Certificate Standards and the Skills for Care new Dementia Units. Our Dementia v3 E-Learning programme is the latest addition to our other popular Adult Services and Healthcare E-Learning Courses.

Dementia v3 E-Learning is designed to help Health and Social Care Workers, Volunteers, Carers and Service Users in a number of ways. This includes helping them to understand Dementia; providing guidance about responding to, caring for and treating people with Dementia; promoting person-centred care to achieve optimum ‘well-being’ for anyone with Dementia and recognising the importance of identifying carers’ needs and providing support to Carers.

This course contributes to the Care Certificate Standards 3,5,6,7,9 and 10.

It also contributes to many of the learning outcomes within the Skills for Care Dementia Units which focus on understanding the experience of Dementia and enabling individuals to live well.

Through our use of clear content, careful animation, case studies, quizzes and further information, we can help provide the skills and knowledge needed to enable your multi-agency staff make the lives of people with Dementia, their Carers and families better and more fulfilled.
