Launch of Kwango Safeguarding Adults under the Care Act 2014 E-Learning

From April 2015 there are considerable changes to Safeguarding Adults at Risk as a result of the introduction of The Care Act.

We have therefore undertaken a major update of our Safeguarding at Risk E-learning programme and are delighted to announce that Safeguarding Adults under the Care Act 2014 E-Learning is replacing it. This is the latest addition to its other popular Adult Services and Healthcare E-Learning Courses.

Safeguarding Adults under the Care Act 2014 E-learning is designed to help Health and Social Care staff plus other Statutory, Private, Voluntary and Independent Sector Agencies in a number of ways.  These include enabling practitioners to understand what abuse is and how to recognise it; what to do if you suspect and adult from being abused; how to develop skills in listening to a victim; how to reduce the likelihood of abuse; the referral/alert process and the multi-agency response.

This course is designed to meet the requirements of the Care Certificate Standard 10.

Through our use of clear content, careful animation, social care and healthcare case studies, interviews, quizzes, further information and guided learning, we can help all your multi-agency staff protect adults with care and support needs.

Everyone has the right to live their life free from abuse and neglect.  Anyone who is aware of abuse has the responsibility to take action.
