Kwango Continence Care E-Learning

Tuesday, January 25th, 2011

Kwango is pleased to announce the launch of our latest e-learning course on Continence Care. It adds to our suite of other popular Adult Services and Health Care E-Learning courses.

Bladder and Bowel Continence issues are an ageless and classless problem that is often overlooked and misunderstood by people, including Health and Social Care Workers. However, with good service provision and trained staff, many people can be treated effectively.

Our Continence Care E-Learning course is aimed at a wide variety of Support Workers within the Independent, Voluntary and Statutory sector. These include Healthcare Assistants, Assistant Practitioners, Personal Assistants, Care Workers and Carers and the course is designed to help them in a number of ways.

It develops learner’s knowledge and skills in early identification and care; understanding the importance of recognising and treating reversible conditions; enabling people to receive therapeutic interventions and contributing to maximising person-centred care for people with Continence problems.

Our high quality course contains interactive interviews with those suffering from Continence problems plus quizzes to further engage learners. As with all our courses, it can be customised for each individual organisation.
